OM-3: excellent but can't replace the GX9

for client work, specially group shots, people usually zoom in a lot to see their own faces.
The same thing happens to prints from film most of my clients bring the print closer to check themselves out. Too much grain, contrast etc just doesn't cut it.

Back to the GX9 is is a great camera to handle and use especially with a prime lens the size of the PL 25 or for shoot and leave mob coupled with a PL15.

Though handling wise the GX7 trumps it

What I mean regarding the HHHRS is at any ISO above ISO 1600,
You never mentioned that you simply stated :

"The OM-3 HHHRS image quality is better than my Sony a7RV."
the OM-3 with HHHRS 14-bit and AI noise reduction applied in OM workspace is significantly cleaner than any full frame camera, including the a7RV that I compared with
:-)
I will make a comparison post soon.
Try comparing both files with noise reduction applied :-)
The first thing I do with any Panasonic M4/3 camera body is set all noise reductions on Photo Styles to -5.

I sincerely wish that there was a means of setting noise reduction processing globally rather tht per item.

Do you need high resolution for "portraits"?
for client work, specially group shots, people usually zoom in a lot to see their own faces. The average iphone these days has a 2868 × 1320 screen, so your 5184 × 3888 photo (before cropping/reframing) gets chewed up easily.
Well, a while back I received the photos from a paid group shoot.... A7iv + 14mm GM f1.8 lens. Ghastly looking, the high res made it worse haha.

Anyway, my clients never complain on that because 20/25mp still way bigger than anything they could see on their mobiles (they mostly don't touch PCs).
