Huge Nikon USA Refurbished deals

At least for the lens selection.

Too bad. The 85 1.8S for $520 would have gotten me to bite. Instead of waiting around for the eventual 85 1.4.
I saw it early - wrote down 24-120 for $714 and 14-28 for $1332 to think about - that was a mistake! They were no longer there a couple hours later.

Ackkk... I just received my new Z 24-70 f/2.8 S. I had checked Nikon USA's refurb page and the refurb was not that much cheaper than the new ones on sale.

Now, on the other hand... I could have saved about $600 if I bought a refurb copy today. I have purchased a handful of Nikon's refurbed products with only one issue, which was handled immediately by their warranty department.

If you're considering a refurb purchase, I'd act now... I'd guess we might not see these kind of prices for a while.

Today 6/23 was supposedly Nikon price-increase day. No?

Those sly foxes, ready with a spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down.
They did raise some prices today. I saw Zf is a bit more now at B&H than yesterday for example, i.e. Zf+40se is now $2136.

I just ordered a Zf+40se for $1498 at Nikon Refurb, pretty good deal. Hopefully the condition is excellent, as I've seen people very happy with Nikon refurbs here.

No UPS or FedEx office? I tried to to have a lens shipped to a Walgreens FedEx counter - no luck.

FedEx and UPS do not ship to post office boxes, but you can rent a private mailbox at some of those UPS stores that will accept packages. The down side is that you can only pick up your packages when the store is open.

Thank you for the tip.

Clearing the warehouse so that everything is at the new rates and less confusion about what is on old rates or new ones?

I suspect that the Nikon Store also will refused to ship to mixed use high rise apartments because that these may be zoned as Commercial for the retails stores located on the ground floor.

Such practice would have meant they would be excluding a lot of people in places such as New York City as their customers; at least they are making it very difficult for customers in such city settings. I don't think any US business can afford to do that.

FedEx offices will accept packages on your behalf and hold them for several days if the shipper directs them to do so.

I have a box at a UPS Store.

I have received shipments from Nikon USA at that address. The address is a physical street address with a Suite # and and then a box # preceded by "PMB" in the address

Thank you for the information. That is what I did at Walgreen's FedEx counter, I do not rent a P.O.Box. not a problem with many sellers B&H, MPB, KEH. Adorama. I can't remember if Nikon USA required a home delivery to the billing address and signature by customer vs allowing a store employee to sign for me at time of delivery. I faithfully patronize my local photo store unless a particular item is not in stock .

I looked up a couple of lenses, and I think prices did go up today on some new stuff. But don't have any proof only relying on memory which at my age does not come with any guarantee that it is accurate.
The Z7ii $1799 sale price in place for months was up as of this morning to $1950-ish. Still below the earlier sale price of around $2300.

I don't know how to post the ad, but man there are some big deals from Nikon USA refurbs - https://www.nikonusa.com/refurbishe...g&utm_medium=email&utm_source=EC&utm_term=ZDX

That Z50 II + 2 lens kit is terrific, but the Z50 II body only is even better. Wow.

And a 14-24 for <$1400? Wow.
Some of the items like the gen 1 Z6 and Z7 aren't that great of a deal and you might be better off buying a used one with 6 month warranty. But there are some good deals on there though, like the Z8 and Z9, among others.

EDIT: I might grab the Z30 for $345 as an alternative to the Ricoh GR II/III someone convinced me I should buy, for street photography. While I love my Zf, sometimes it's too big for street when i want to go light i guess.

It won't do me any good at all if that can hold a package when the package is never delivered.

The Z30 is great, and at that price, anyone that uses Z Nikons and might want a small package that will use any and all of your Z and AF-S and AF-P lenses should jump on this.

It is annoying that Nikon USA will not allow the recipient to redirect a package to a UPS Store for pickup, meaning I have to wait around all day in order to sign for the package.

This inconvenience is offset by the heavily discounted refurbished prices which seem to be offered every month around the 20th. this month it started late, on the 23rd.

I was able to get a z6iii with the 24-70 f/4 for $2025. Hopefully I will be home when UPS comes tomorrow.
