Welcome to the Weekly Image Thread!

This thread will appear every Saturday (GMT). If the thread is nearing full before the next Saturday, I may start a new thread and carry on until it fills or the next Saturday arrives and it is reasonably full in which case I will start another. Confused, so am I! From time to time the start could be delayed if I am unavailable.

Although this Weekly thread is in the Olympus SLR forum, we openly welcome users of all brands and models.

Please:

  1. Reply to this post and change the TITLE!
  2. Please reply to at least one other contribution, your replies encourage posters!!!
  3. If asked, please share your processing techniques or technical details.
  4. Please show the EXIF if possible. Please identify the lens used regardless of which camera was used to take the image. This helps people form opinions of the lens used with the body to possibly influence future acquisitions.
  5. If special lighting was used to create your image stating what was done may help others.
Thanks for joining and contributing this week.

Thanks Andrew. The horses are there most days. There's a heavy horse centre a few miles up the road and they bring them along in horse boxes for their clients to ride on the beach for a couple of hours.

I do resize the files for all applications but I'll certainly put some bigger ones up now and again.

Lovely to "see" you here Craig and I hope you're keeping well.

Beautiful images, particularly of the butterflies.

All is well here although I'm still not getting out with the camera as often as I should.

What a beach! Pretty. You can keep that house though. ;-)

When I click on the link Charlotte I get a message saying the video is not available in my country. Very disappointing.

Great to have you back Craig. I was wondering how you were just the other day.

I see the BWL is still stuck to the front of the camera. Still producing great results though.

Did you try to watch it directly at YouTube? I sometimes get odd messages in the popup here and the video doesn't play. But when I go to YT it's fine.

It's worth the watch. It was so nice, for more reasons than one.

Hi, where have you been? And I'm not envious at all. 😇

A gorgeous image Paul, worth leaving a warm bed for.

Little sun here this morning and very muggy 🥵

A lovely beach image with beautiful early morning light Paul!!

4:08 a.m. GMT! That is early! I hope you are on daylight saving time there Paul and it was thus 5:08 instead! Still early but not crazy early! There have been nights I have gone to bed here only half an hour earlier than that!

Andrew

Thanks Andrew it was 5:08 it was a lovely morning surprisingly there was still people on the beach even at that time of the morning 🙂

I think I may ditch Scotland and move to Ireland instead. 😊

Not sure the word bucolic can apply to seascapes but this is very calming
