Life as an event photographer means being ready for anything, so despite absolutely hating being rained on, I sucked it up to help capture the start of my friend’s music festival. Both cameras performed flawlessly as expected!

OM-3 was fine…

I was not…

Thankfully there was one fully indoor space as well…

Nice to have confidence in the cameras' performance in the rain. The challenge is to keep the front element clear of raindrops.

Yep. This is one of the rare times I brought out the hood for the f/1.8s. And thankfully the OM-1 when not in use is aimed downwards

Or caption "The Show Must go On". I think you captured the spirit.

Managed to drop out. Luckily it landed on my foot before landing on the rear dial. It’s fine. 😂

Nice set.

This reminds me of an outdoor concert I covered years ago. It started raining, but not bad enough for the band to stop playing (even though the band shell was pretty tall and rain was blowing into the edges of the stage. Everyone else headed for cover while I kept going with my E-EM1.2s. Finally the band took a break, so I headed to the tent where the other photographers were sheltering. I was asked in awe what camera I was using. LOL
