Hello to all, we are back from trip to Thailand visiting Koh Samui and Phangan.

I took with me x-t5, with lenses:

Fuji 18mm f1.4, Fuji 33mm f1.4, Viltrox 75mm f1.2, Sigma 10-18mm f2.8, Fuji 70-300 and Fuji 16-50mm f2.8-f4.8.

It was actually first use of the new gear so I shoot even more then I would, I am glad I choose Fuji for this kind of trips as it is quite lighter compared to my Canon and I like the experience of using Fuji system.

I decided to leave Fuji 56mm f1.2 mk2 at home to save weight , and it was quite close to Viltrox 75mm lens. I am most impressed with Viltro 75mm f1.2 the lens is really sharp (noticeable sharper compared to Fuji 33mm f1.4), and also has great bokeh and fast enough AF.

Anyway here are some of the images, I post full size images for anyone interest in IQ up close.

This one is handheld , holding camera up above my head to get a bit better angle , so the image wasn't critically sharp and here I applied addition sharpening.

Using Viltrox 75mm f1.2 I feel that default C1 sharpening is already too much.

Fuji 33mm f1.4 wide open needs just a bit more sharpening, but it is still great lens.

This one is quite soft, but I liked it anyway.

Impressed, Bravo Zulu!! I didn't want to do just a thumbs up, which I did as well.

Solid work. One question: Can you provide some details on your objective? That is, were you trying to tell us something about Thailand, or something else?
I am not sure what would like to hear , but Thailand is one my favourite places to go on vocation , combination with beatiful nature, kind people and prices that are reasonable.

Really, really good photos and an amazing family to match. Great job!

Looking at your equipment list for this trip I was thinking this is way too much for vacation but looking at your images, it seems you had a large variety to cover and got some really nice family portrait where the shallow DOF really helps to make it « special ».

I like to keep my setup to only 2 lenses (landscape and wildlife) but as a result I never got such beautiful family portrait, now you are tempting me ^^

Cheers and well done for the superb vacations memory you got ^^

Excellent travel photos (even if they weren't) as well as willing subjects. Experiences to be treasured for a lifetime..... even though these days I would take less gear. :)

Excellent set.

One of the nicest set I've seen here, beautiful pictures and selection really conveys the idyllic mood, I have no idea either what more to explain :D

Thank you a lot Bartolomeos I am glad you liked them, I have feeling that at such beautiful place is hard to make "bad" image :)

Thanks Gregcpb , I used to carry big and heavy Canon gear or sometimes Fuji GFX so this setup felt light and small for me, no issues there at all.

Thanks Bob, I enjoyed very much to make those images and extra gear didn't make it harder for me :)
