Thanks Ab. It certainly looks like rain.

Thanks KB. These widely different shots are both great - thanks. Whoever is playing 'x' in in the game on the left screwed up (assuming they played first and marked the x in the center square....)

Thanks Dak. Creative approach and I'm a sucker for slight shifts in hue.

Auto white balance wasn't cutting it due to me lacking flash gels. One still sees that the top and bottom of the pic are not in the same illumination reign, but it looks more intentional this way.
Ha! Your secret is safe with me. That definitely falls under my composition takes precedent over technical mastery... Yeah, it might have more potential but I still like it as is.

Oh, this isn't the "as-is" version: this is after pushing the white balance away in post from the camera's "Auto" setting that would have made the image too disparate for my taste.

Thank you

Recently I was going to spend some money for my beloved hobbey. There were many exciting options from different types and brands of cameras. After 2-3 months of thinking, 2 weeks ago at last I landed on an M5 + its 18-150. Just love using it!

Great challenge Nick! It took me some time to search through my archive, but here is my contribution ;-)

That second image drew me in. I like the B&W rendering and the solitary figure contrasting the heavy iron bridge. Is there anywhere in the city you go without your camera?

Thanks KB.

Thanks David. When looking at the second image at first (on my phone) - where's the bubble? Where's the water??? All clear now.

Happy child (granddaughter?) and happy dogs.

Thanks Jerry. My fav is the next to last image.

Looking at the "primitive" craft in the first image and the last image, not sure we've made much progress....
