I will admit to being intrigued. I love me a weird little toy camera, and this could easily sell itself to me as a very superior grade of toy. The two big hitches for me are the focal length and the price. If its lens was longer (say 40 or 45mm equivalent), and it cost about half the asking price, it might well be an instant sale. The fun factor alone would be enough.
Oddly enough, two of the most common major criticisms are not a problem for me. The vertical format is actually a plus-- not for portrait oriented rectangles, but for squares. I crop many if not most of finished images to a square and find squares easier to compose from a vertical original. And of course every camera is JPEG only for me.
