Just curious. Were these photos taken in the northern suburbs of Chicago? Sure looks familiar.
 
I was thinking the same. Sixty years in an area gives a good sense of what home looks like.

This is a lens I’m looking forward to getting for my BF!

Yes, I've just moved to Evanston (from Downers Grove).

Yeah, I walk to Alchemy coffee in Wilmette for their tasty coffee and delicious scones on the weekend. And then continue east to the lake--it makes for a nice loop.

I will bring the BF the next time I do that hike--especially now that I've got the 45 mm too (90 is still on backorder, as is another battery).
