Curious to know what’s the best Konica Minolta, Minolta or Konica small compact camera ?

I have the KM X1 and it’s pretty crap. Noisy images at every ISO and awful color

how about the G600 ? I shoot base ISO and like nice color and rendering (such as the photos on the A200 which are very pleasing - also the Kodak digicams) anything from 5 MPX higher would be nice

something to play around with

I have several M/KM bridge cameras but I only have one compact. It's an older E323 3.2MP model I bought back in 2019 for $7 US. The reason I bought it was purely looks, the style reminded me of the blue awnings on the old Airstreams.

I was taking a lot of closeups at the time I bought it and was surprised at how sharp the lens was.

I must say that is gorgeous

it has that 50ies vibe

What do you think of this? It's My Italian Durst Automatica and has the 50ies/60ies Italian sportscar vibe

Sometimes looks gets my attention. That's why I like the early digital cameras before manufacturers decided what a digital camera is supposed to look like.

And the Minolta Z series, nothing else looks like it and Minolta was very proud of that fact.

IMHO, the A2 was the pinnacle of the KM compact camera development. The 8 MP 2/3" sensor is mediocre by today's standard, but at that time, it was a decent sensor. It was a well designed and ergonomic camera.

Equipped with a modern sensor, modern processing and a decent back LCD it would still be an attractive camera today. I would go so far that Sony actually did this with the RX-10 series.

I have the similar very nicely formed A200 and I used it on a walk yesterday after a long while. really like it a lot.

The Sony RX10 is quite a bit chunkier - I noticed the Sony SLT A55 is more or less the same size as the A200!

here he is with his brothers

i was thinking more pocket sized though.

I have wanted a G600 for a while. Hard to find fully working and at a realistic price. There are a lot of G500 used but I'm leary of that sensor.

Nice photos man

yes but I’ve a A200 and was wondering whether they matched the tiny Minolta TC-1 in digital ?
