Looks like some of the old towns in Northern CA not too far from Sacramento.

Beautiful place. These timeless locales are a treat for me to visit. Now Cothele is on my bucket list

Thanks for the video. #4 is the one I like. Looks as if someone cracked open the tree and revealed the chick.
Thank you Bob,

When I found the angle for #4 I was fascinated by the environment and that's why I cropped the way I did.

Another sunny Saturday in Germany meant another hike for me today. Sharing some photos from this beautiful spring so far. All taken with the nostalgic negative film simulation.

After a wander at Findhorn Eco Village (an experience, you should google it..), we headed back round the corner to Findhorn Beach…this time at high tide, so had opportunity to play with long exposures.. beautiful place.

Fujifilm X-T3 with Viltrox 27&75mm f/1.2…… not used them this holiday as I’ve been keeping the kit as light as possible for our wanders, but had an inclination that we’d end up back at Findhorn today and was worth the extra weight for the way these lenses render shots 👍📸

Cheers, Bob.

Appreciate the scenery.... and that's a very large "pimple!"

This is very interesting to me because my wife and I visited the Findhorn community in 1978 (yep, we were young). We had hoped to meet Peter and Eileen Caddy but neither were there at the time. One of the first recollections of the area was an introduction to the community in their community center. There was a video presentation for about 15-30 minutes. I commented to those around me it was a great "movie." But it was not. It was a series of photo slides and a recording. No I wasn't smoking anything.... but it was the beginning of some unusual coincidences, all of which made for a very interesting 3-weeks in Scotland and England.

I was sad to hear the original community center had burned down but the town was "resurrected" so to speak and a new building was built (I think that's what was told to me). In any case the long ago visit was something I will never forget..... too bad no digital cam at the time.

Those colors! Nice series.

Great series, and ditto what Bob said.

Hi Bob,

I’d imagine that the community will have grown quite a bit since 78…(as have I, I was only 7 years old 😂😀). There are quite a lot of pretty grand looking properties…a far cry from what I was expecting, and they are still building/expanding the site…

We could see the appeal of this place, but decided to leave before we started wearing sandals 🤣🤣.

Joking aside, the sense of peace and calmness in the place was tangible…

Cheers, Bob.
