**April '25 with your smartphone**

Here I used the "oil painting" long exposure setting on my xiaomi to blur the water. But it blurred everything else, too.
Indeed. And that's why I much prefer the first one, which is very nice.

The second is not worth keeping, except that I don't understand how you managed to get the nice reflections on the water.

Always have been fascinated by this lone tree sitting on a small hill at the local golf course when taking the dog on a walk. Photo taken on an iPhone XS. Did auto color correction and applied a mono filter on my phone, otherwise no other adjustments or enhancements.

Back from a hiatus. It was a long winter, and I also got tired of the gear talk rabbit hole I found myself in. Much more fun to share photos and enjoy everyone else's work!

I like the Mono filter. Also, it’s good to see that you’re back!

Very nice image. I agree about endless gear discussions.

Spent some days in Paris, to visit my son, and see some exhibitions.

This is the Pinault Foundation.

It used to be a stock exchange, but has now been transformed into a museum. The place is magnificent.

Thanks, Howard, the duck couple cooperated nicely.

Amazing space, definitely wasted on stock exchange and deserves public access. Well done.

Just a few all taken recently in my (retirement) home town of Droitwich Spa in Worcestershire (UK).

I've been on a search all over the place for a compact camera to use alongside my Sony RX10iv which, frankly, only comes out now a few times a year when I have a special need. All the compacts I've looked at have one failing or another so maybe I'll plump for the iPhone 17 Pro later in the year as my EDC.

Anyway, here's the pics:
