If I’m just using my camera with one lens, usually the 18 55 or 10 24, I carry it in a Think Tank digital holster 5. I’ve just bought a 16 55 2.8 and need something larger. I’m looking for the most compact pouch type case just to carry this combination. I have plenty of other bags that it will fit in with other lenses and equipment.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Peak Design everyday sling 3L, the perfect one camera/one lens bag.

Wotancraft Pilot 3,5L for the X-T5 and one lens.

Wotancraft Pilot 7L for the X-T5 and 2 lenses.

Not as good as the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 😉

Which one? The 2.5L looks too small for an X-T5/16-55 f/2.8, and the 6L is twice the size of the PD 3L sling (which accommodates the old 16-55 on my X-T2 w/handgrip). They look like nice bags, but for this particular use case (at least the way I would use it), the PD looks like the better choice to me.

6 is twice 3 but I always take volume claims with a big pinch of salt, especially Bellroy’s.

The camera sling is nominally 10L but that seems wildly ambitious. What it does do is conform beautifully to whatever you put in it, magically being never too big and never too small, and the zip alone is a complete game-changer. Bags with conventional zips feel borderline unusable after this.

Think Tank MM-20 MkII. I can lay the camera/lens on its side which I prefer.

Shoulder type bag?

Mirrorless Mover from Think Tank... either 20, 25 or 30 depending on if you want to carry anything else.

Totally agree with this comment!

I prefer zooms. For me, my go to, ready to grab and shoot anything kit is my X-T5, 8-16mm, 16-55mm Mk2, and 70-300mm in a Mirrorless Mover 30. If I want to travel super light, I’ll use the 8mm and 16-50mm in a Mirrorless Mover 20 or add the 80mm and 1.4x in a Mirrorless Mover 25 if I think I may want something longer. Yes, like many of us, I have too many bags and have all three!

I run X-T5 with 16/2.8 and 35/2. I found the PD 3L too bulky and too snug. The Bellroy 6L is perfect, and can take specs, batteries, wallet, keys, etc with no issues. I also have the Bellroy 10L camera sling but don't like it - I find it too big.

You got me curious: I just tried the 4L Lite Mini sling (which I normally use with either the Ricoh GRs or Lumix GF1s), and that will take the X-T4 with the 23/2 fitted, the 35/2 in a padded pouch, and a bag with three batteries in it.

Nice. Out of interest, what is the padded pouch you use for the lens? I use a lens cloth as I haven't found something suitable yet.

A Tamrac Goblin; I have quite a few in various sizes, they’re really versatile and are nice and protective without ever being bulky.

Thanks. I'll check it out.

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll take a look. I was thinking of just getting the next size up digital holster, the 10.
