NEX-5T + SELP1650 no OIS on video?!

When SELP1650 paired with camera body i can see OIS working when half pressing shutter button however when i record video OIS stabilization is not engaged, this is how it intended to work?

Actually it might be working but to a smaller degree that in photo mode (half pressed shutter) what other settings might affect it like frame rate or something?

Enable display of all functions on the Sony NEX-5T screen using the DISP key. The SteadyShot icon will be on the screen if this function is enabled. The indicator does not appear in the shutter speed priority mode and in manual exposure mode. You also need to disable the shutter release without a lens. IMHO The stabilizer will be on without half-pressing. There was a video where they repaired the zoom stabilizer and connected it to the camera while it was half-disassembled, and the vibration of the stabilizer was visible.
