It seems that's a common fault on all the DPs before the DP Merrills.

Nothing for it only a repair if you can get someone to do it or try to do it yourself, not easy from what I have seen on other posts. I presume a geared component is either out of place or broken and it's doubtful that spares are still available for a body of that age. A word with Sigma might be useful.
