If things continue as they are - no reliable delivery data and no news on what could be the cause of this ongoing delay which approaches 2 months now - here is a potential scenario:
The A1 II will see a re-release in late 2025 as candidate for "camera of the year 2026"
Sarcasm mode off.
Cheers,
Ralf
Oh yeah…Sony A1II now in stock with a $9444 price tag on Amazon | sonyalpharumors
Sony is struggling to ramp up production to meet demand for the new Sony A1II. If you absolutely need it now, you'll have to pay a whopping $9,444 on Amazon (click here if you don't believe me). Note: A source told me that Sony was able to increase production and the shortage should be resolved

Most camera mfg rearrange their assembly line for big batch production. If Sony's cycle is every 2-months then, they increased production rate, then it should be soon that more units are available.
In the mean time it is best to ask around at small shops. I think they've been getting their shipment units delayed from the mid/large retailers. They are slow or don't often update online and some don't even have websites.
