I had Gf3 before photographed flowers foliage with it. Never had G3. Picked both up last week. Taken aback by their gorgeous jpeg colours.

With Panny 14-42mk2 never had it before. This afternoon.

Manual exposure, Manual Kelvin. Vivid setting, -2 Noise reduction. Just straightened cropped where required, white balance readjusted on a couple, else jpegs straight from G3, Gf3.

Well done. An interesting photo experiment. Loved the colours and textures. Congratulations

Yes, great colors! I guess most of the progress that has since been made in M43 sensors was in their resolution, not their colors..

But photography aside, where in the world did you find all those wonderful little shops and boutiques?? London (Camden) maybe?

Really pleased with G3 Gf3. Some of the most gorgeous colours I've seen from the 100 digital cameras I've had. Also better than any phone I've had including phone with Leica branded lens.

Reckon so. I have to get a G80 or G9 then revisit same locations with my Panny 14-42mk2. I definitely couldn't get these colours from my Panny Fz80/Fz82 megazoom was always a frustration. Can't recall if my Gx7, Gx80 had such colours. My current E-Pl7 can't quite get these colours.

Aye 👍 Camden.

Camden is one of the few places I know of would have these vibrant colours from little boutiques stalls shops. Spitalfields market, Portobello road market, Greenwich market, also would have similar although they are smaller not as much variety as Camden.

Gorgeous for sure! Beautiful examples.
🍻

Camden market sure showed what G3 Gf3 can do. I was taken aback, joyous with their colours also blacks of the Tshirts.
I still have my G3 - I take it out every now and then. I like it especially for flowers.

This is gorgeous.

I'm also going to G3 Gf3 colour for flowers before any other camera I have. Can't wait till Spring.

Congrats! The excitement of trying new old cameras will never wear out. At least not for me. There are a few true milestones for me: the EM10.1 and the EM1.2 (as a "signature camera" from Oly) are great cameras, still competitive as photographic tools and getting cheaper and cheaper. Perhaps the EM5.3 is the best fusion of the above 2: small and light as the EM10 with IQ of the EM1.2.

🍻

I picked up Gf3 (£25 ebay) to use with legacy manual glass because I missed a photo opp in the drizzle and I didn't want my E-Pl7 to get rained on. I have placed cameras in clear plastic bag with hole to photograph in drizzle.

G3 I picked up because it's white with silver panny 14-42mk2 as out in London esp at night I want people to readily see what I'm carrying. A black camera with black lens could look as a firearm from a distance at night. Also daytime just looks 😎 makes people feel comfortable I feel. I got couple nice comments from ladies saying it's a nice camera.

To then find how gorgeous their jpeg colours are just a thrill.

Photographs I shared are mostly ISO160, a handful are ISO400.

I'd be comfortable photographing for certain scenes jpeg ISO800 ISO1000 with G3 and Gf3.

I had the G3 that I bought when it first came out. Nice little camera with a great EVF.

The only problems I had with it was the Auto WB making people red in artificial light and locking up in hot days (35-40 °C). Being in the UK and having a white body should eliminate that problem. I usually never went over ISO800.

Last year my friend picked up a G3 with the P14 f2.5 for C$16. He loves it.

Terrific camera for the price now G3. I'm not surprised your friend loves it.

I manual Kelvin white balance to get these colours. ISO1K is my tops on rare occasions, usually ISO160-400.

My wife has been using our old G3 with the 14-42ii. It still produces the goods with very attractive rendering.

I also love the subtle and precise colors of the G3:
