Thanks again to all who participated! As set out in the rules blurb, Honorable Mentions were selected only from Exhibits; and Places only from Entries. Without further ado...
Honorable Mentions:
I liked the play of light on Elliotts' flower garden:

While I'm not normally a fan of anything involving cities, Jerry's reflecting cityscape seemed to create a quite peaceful foreground to the hubbub.

As did the view from Notbelonghere's kitchen window:

AbS's sleepy owl made me chuckle:

As usual, all of Kit's images were superb. This still life particularly so. Mrs. Digitcallous can decorate my house anytime
:

Kahn's B&W work, as always, is simply superb. Each one was deserving of an HM and it was hard to pick which one I liked the best, so I just picked this one.

I think Nick10's excellent autumn cat may have won before, but it deserves an HM again. This is an image that I would frame and hang in my home.

Not sure I can explain why, but NickD's "Sisters" really spoke to me and had me looking at the image for quite a while.

3rd Place:
NickD's tropical-looking garden is a place I'd like to be right about now. Nice shot!

2nd Place:
I guess we need to call Nick10 "Catman" because his cat images are great! Love this one!

1st Place:
HowardV's scene of his home in the winter is nothing less than superb. Exactly the kind of image I was hoping to see and a very well-deserved 1st place.

Dishonorable Mentions:
This time there were actually two coveted dishonorable mentions
.
David scored one for his entry of a "perdiz" that is actually a dusky grouse:

And, Elliott scored a DM for posting umpteen Exhibits. For judging purposes, I only counted the first 10, which is too bad because some of the later ones were very good.
Congrats to all - HM's, Places and, especially DM's! Hope you had fun during a wintery week.
