Not sure those you hoped for, but blue ones

Nikkor 300/2.8 AF-S D II (pre-VR version) - covers GFX sensor wide open when focused < 5 meters, heavy vignette (while not total corner blackout) when focused to infinity wide-open, slight vignette stopped down to /4 on infinity

Liking this a lot.

Hey you looking at me.

Considering this Nikkor's price that's an excellent result on a Gfx sensor shooting f/4. I have added this Nikkor to my list.

Thanks!

This shots are wide open and in dim flat light - this lens is very sharp on 50mp sensor, I use it occasionally on 40mp aps-c without any issues so I’m sure it will be fine on 100mp also

One thing to note - it is not listed in fringer’s compatibility list so it is supposed to lack pdaf support - I’m still waiting for GF fringer to arrive so can’t say how AF will work on gfx, but XF fringer (also not officially supporting this lens) works ok - previous T5 firmware versions had problems with focusing on minimal distances (I had to manually pre-focus) like my other lenses from supported list, but latest firmware seems to fix this issue.

I just sold a 300 2.8 VRII. Fabulous lens but just too heavy for me to carry around any more. It outperformed my GF250 f4, which I also just sold to finance the next chapter in my photography journey. :)

I thought those were great tits, even though the small ones are cuter.

Aren't the 50MP GFX bodies only CDAF anyway?

Yes, all 50mp Fujis are cdaf-only. I mean I can’t say how AF works on GFX at all, but on smaller fringer for XF it works just like lenses from “supported list”. Lenses that are not in list are supposed to be limited to cdaf only but either T5 has super-fast cdaf that works same as pdaf with other lenses I have tried, or lens is actually supported by fringer but they haven’t included it in list for some reason
