Whats Canon's next DSLR?? Any rumor is welcomed!

Yea based on current models and Canon history, that's probably about right, but they have also found that they can have a market above $4000. So, they may continue to milk it.

Steve J.
If the 10D is truly discontinued then I believe we would see an
upgrade to it at the same price, but would also see another entry
at the $1999 price.

I believe the top of the Canon DSLR line will be at $2500 by 2006.

This means the bottom of the DSLR line will be $599-799.

this is what i want next from canon .. and nice black body like the 10D ..sure not a plastic one .. ... with a 1.3 crop .. if they are willing to do it .. and a better AF system .. and AWB .. im willing to wait till 04/2004 and i got 2k hope it will be enough for the new Dslr :)

I am just hoping I'll be able to make 40 000 cliks before my 10D get's replaced sometime early in 2005.
10000 clicks in 3 months, most of them in studio controled enviroment.

You hit the nail on the head!!! AMEN LEOR!!!!!!!!
The next version of 10D is at least 6 months away.
Most likely announced at Photokina 28.sept-3.oct. 2004.
I got this from a reliable source.
No offense, but it seems like ALL rumors are from Mr. Reliable
Source, yet no two rumors seem to be the same.

IMHO, all the speculation is an absolute waste of bandwidth. When
the "NEXT BIG THING" finally shows up, then the focus measurbating
and the speculation over the NEXT body can start all over again.
The cycle repeats itself every 6 to 12 months and there are those
that will never buy anything because their ability to make a
decision is paralysed by the fear of what's coming out next. It's
as if they fear the 10D will suddenly become as obsolete as a
pinhole camera when the next body hits the market and they would be
too embarrassed to be seen in public with it. I think this is the
difference between photographers and technojunkies.
