Another recent post of north Wales got me thinking to post a few shots taken at the beginning and end of last month on a couple of trips into the area.

Eryri National Park is the area which used to be called Snowdonia in north Wales and there are some lovely places to enjoy. These shots all feature Tryfan, the 15th highest peak in Wales at 917.5m. The name I believe translates from Welsh to 'very high peak' and in my opinion a very recognisable and characterful mountain in the park.

Very well composed images of a beautiful landscape, Bill! I particularly like the four above, would be hard pressed to choose a favourite.

All wonderfully "seen" and composed, the foreground is really harmonious to this entire scene, I would probably have been stepping over this area getting closer to the stream and not seen this composition.
Again another image I would rarely have been able to make, the bush on the right would have thrown me off but you've successfully framed it to work very well
This first image of the peak is nicely done, however your second one is really pleasant, I like the 3 layers of - foreground with the ladder, the valley floor midground and the mountain in the background. So nicely done.

Reminders of my childhood. Thanks. A little surprised to see some blue sky. Must be climate change

Thank you for the extensive comment Mike, really glad you liked and I'm sure you would have got similar if not better if you were there 😀

Thanks for the positive comment hsphsp, glad you liked and I like to see info on posted shots so always try myself to give some details if I can 👍

Cheers Richard, I always feel I've succeeded if images bring back memories. On the last day you couldn't see most due to low cloud, Welsh Wales as it should be 😁

Great pictures Bill! All nicely composed and executed. My favorites are #1 and #5. Love the colors and processing.

Nice work, I like your composition on these.

Cheers George, the river here is the outflow from Llyn Ogwen, the A5 was just behind me and just off camera on the right is the Carneddau and Glyderau National Trust centre. Up above that on the right is Cwm Idwal which made for some nice walking and a few more shots. Lovely area 😃

Thanks. I assumed we were looking at the saddle between the south ridge of Tryfan and Bristly ridge but from the angle I thought we would be closer to the Glyders than the outflow of the Llyn. We know the area well having spent most weekends walking, scrambling and climbing there in the 90s. I even proposed there 😁

Definitely a great area for those that love the outdoors and what a place to propose, I hope the answer was yes 😃
It was and we’re still having adventures (fly back from Prague tomorrow). 😁

Excellent, and maybe a few shots to post 😃
Yes. Must admit, I usually post my pics to the weekly thread in the Z forum but am a bit remiss in not posting them here.
