But, back on topic . . . I would be curious how you, having switched over to Affinity, would describe the differences in use, work flow etc. from PS. I left Adobe years ago when they went subscription. I know the RAW developer module of Affinity is abysmal and use DxO Pl 7 elite - I can't think that Adobe can top that. So, I'm not tempted to switch back to Adobe for any reason.
It may be off topic but worth the mention. The divide between ordinary and wealthy in the U.S. is a battle not enough citizens are even aware of.Okay, we have to pay living costs and if you don't work somehow while studying you will need to get student loan.My daughter obtained a master's degree four years ago. I just did a quick check on current tuition at the colleges she attended. The four-year public undergraduate college now costs about $11,000 per year for in-state residents. (My records say it was only half that much when she attended!) The two-year public graduate school now costs about $14,000 per year for in-state residents. Private schools are much more expensive.I don't know how much student loan in USA for example students need but I did fund my living costs with student loan + benefits.
She lived on her own and also worked for most of those years. Even though we paid a considerable chunk of the tuition and living expenses ourselves, and she had some scholarship funds, her student loan debt was about $60,000. She would be in debt for much more if she finished the program this year.
(BTW, she has a same age friend who went into dentistry. His student debt is $300,000.)
Yes, it's off-topic. I was just curious, though. These days the government in Finland will probably increase the portion you'll have to fund through loan or just live with your parents. And current right wing government will make it harder for people to work in Finland too if you are an immigrant. They want to kick immigrants out if they don't find jobs in 3 months etc. But this is not my expertise and kind of off topic here![]()
