Fantastic photo, I have a FZ200 at the moment, was thinking about getting a FZ330 but seeing your photo with the FZ1000mk2 !
The fz330 has a better EVF, it's weather resistant and I also like the long reach and it is much smaller and lighter than the fz1000. Yes the image quality may be a bit better with the fz1000 but it's not enough to sway me I don't thinkmeh, getting the FZ300 not much improve.Fantastic photo, I have a FZ200 at the moment, was thinking about getting a FZ330 but seeing your photo with the FZ1000mk2 !
consider at least the FZ1000 or Mark 2; my FZ200 is about all i need in the pin head sensor, a 1" sensor would be money worth spending or even trading used for used.
i like the reach on the FZ200, so it's a keeper for a while.
i may try the FZ1000 anyway, the FZ300 is too much like my FZ200 to bother with. The fz330 has a better EVF, it's weather resistant and I also like the long reach and it is much smaller and lighter than the fz1000. You won't regret it, I can promise you that. The FZ 10002 is the optimal multi machine. It can do most things and then some. The advantage is that it has a significantly larger sensor than the FZ300, which means you can crop the image more without losing too much quality.i may try the FZ1000 anyway, the FZ300 is too much like my FZ200 to bother with. The fz330 has a better EVF, it's weather resistant and I also like the long reach and it is much smaller and lighter than the fz1000. trading up is kind of my goal, but deciding what is the best bang buck gets difficult on the low end. i have 2 Bridge cameras, so getting the FZ1000 may be over kill, or not?
i may need to seriously consider looking into Canon's DSLR line a little closer, such as the 70D. or just get a better walk around lens with more reach than the kit 18-55 lens.
do you still shoot with the DSLR? have any faves to rave about?
thanks.
thanks. many believe the FZ300/200 is the stepping stone up to the FZ1000 or better. You won't regret it, I can promise you that. The FZ 10002 is the optimal multi machine. The range is not a problem, I often use iZoom which gives 800mm with marginal quality loss. Alternatively, 400mm and crop the image afterwards, which still gives better quality than the FZ300 due to the larger sensor.thanks. many believe the FZ300/200 is the stepping stone up to the FZ1000 or better. You won't regret it, I can promise you that. both have their place, as the FZ200 is very cheap now until the rest of the planet finds out about this used wonder of photographic equipment.
the issue for some is the Reach you get from the FZ1000 or better; some will probably opt for a used DSLR crop camera and a walk around lens with good telephoto reach.
I was shooting with a Pentax K5 but the AF is not very good compared to the FZ200 and I got very frustrated with it. I have had a Olympus EM10ii, EM5ii and a EM1ii, all very good cameras but I got fed up constantly having to change lenses, that's why I want a all in one solution.i may try the FZ1000 anyway, the FZ300 is too much like my FZ200 to bother with. The fz330 has a better EVF, it's weather resistant and I also like the long reach and it is much smaller and lighter than the fz1000. I am sending my FZ200 off to MPB this morning and exchanging it for a FZ330![]()
Thank you, MPB have quite a few FZ330's in excellent condition so plenty of choice and I have used MPB several times with no problems, so fingers crossed.good move.I was shooting with a Pentax K5 but the AF is not very good compared to the FZ200 and I got very frustrated with it. the FZ330 is a better camera; basically my MO is to just trade up till i find something i prefer.
i keep my foot into both worlds for now, but going 100% Bridge camera is attractive. for now i may trade my Rebel in for an SL1 with a good 18-135mm walk around and see what happens. just not in much of a hurry, because i shoot with two Bridge cameras, the SX40 and FZ200.
this being the case, i am waiting to get inspired for my next move.
hoping you get a good FZ300 and some Rave reviews to liven up this forum.
i see mpb as an adventure; when it comes in we have 14 days to return, so i try to test the whole camera. my FZ70 came in with a blob of stuff in the lens, so i notified them and a few months later sent it in for repair and they replaced it for me with a better camera and a few bucks on tops of that.Thank you, MPB have quite a few FZ330's in excellent condition so plenty of choice and I have used MPB several times with no problems, so fingers crossed.good move.I was shooting with a Pentax K5 but the AF is not very good compared to the FZ200 and I got very frustrated with it.
