Just a few requirements:

1. Photos must be taken with M-series cameras.

2. Photos must be taken in July and August 2024.

3. Please try to include the EXIF info (or at least post some info about the body and lens).

4. Comments on photos are of course allowed, but try to keep a nice tone.

How amazing. There is our little star, some 93 million miles away, and thanks to that lot, elevated at a couple of thousand feet, they are stopping the mesembryanthemums from opening petals to a not so bright new day.

Too chilly to sit outdoors and enjoy morning coffee and a bowl full of Pringles. The wind is blowing up a storm, and leaves are clinging to branches as if their very lives depend on it. (Which of course, they do). But that’s the style of summer, early July 2024 in central U.K for you. And the not oft’ reported issue of global dimming.

Agapanthus, just starting to bloom

The first showing today, of many Gazanias. Had to grab the opportunity

Petunias never disappoint. In abundance alongside the yet to bloom outdoor Orchids

Sempervivum Tectorum in amongst other alpines in the now defunct fountain.

Stuck the 55-200 on the M6II for this small selection.

Here's a photo I took the other day of an eagle in a nest. It's not a real eagle, but the nest is real. What had happened about 19 years ago, was that the nest was ready to fall out of a tree to the ground because a large branch broke off. So with some heavy equipment the nest was carefully removed, sterilized and placed in a room for an exhibit. The eagles were able to repair another nest that was nearby in another tree. That's why the nest is here for all to see.

Did you notice the fish too?

I thought they put this together very well. It's very realistic.
