Looks like my backyard! All summer, my yard and feeders are filled with mourning doves, white winged doves, cardinals, blue jays, and grackles, with a few mockingbirds and brown thrashers mixed in. Starlings come though in waves but don't stay. As common as they are, I always love the cardinals - just such joyous pops of color.

Nice shots of both of them.

Thanks for your comment. A lot of bird lovers come through the Riverside Park and leave all kinds of food for the birds and the racoons, squirrels, chipmunks and others. Problem is that some "well meaning" crazy people even feed fruit loops and salted peanuts to the wildlife.
