Need Download Manager to Replace Play Memories

My laptop bit the dust and I see that Sony has gotten rid of Play Memories. This was a great product to download photos from Cameras and Cards, has option to only import new or selected images, and set up files by date. (the downside is that all the months are racked together instead of by year)

So I need a simple software package that will download non duplicate photos and create files by date taken.

I don't need editing tools. I shoot JPG.

I've also downloaded Sony IEDT, it appears to be an editor and RAW developed but not a download manager.

I think you can still get it:

If you're a Windows user, the free FastStone Image Viewer can handle that and many other things - more than PMH.

I gave up on Image Viewer right away. Do you have to set up that map every time? If so I could just do that with file manager. It didn't recognize my camera, so I had to set it up for the SD card. Then I have designate the download files. Then I deleted it

Thanks for your effort, maybe I missed the obvious?

I don't think so. I don't use the app for importing files, but others do and have recommended it for that.
If so I could just do that with file manager. It didn't recognize my camera,
I don't use a USB cable for transfer, either - just a card reader.
so I had to set it up for the SD card.
I decided to test this. It immediately recognizes whatever card is in my reader and points itself to the DCIM folder.
Then I have designate the download files.
I don't think you have to designate anything if you uncheck 'Show file picker'. Make a list of file extensions you want, like those shown in the example, and they get copied.

Everything I enter is remembered the next time it's run.
Then I deleted it

And what about the link to the PMH installer?

Thanks. Worked great from SD Card. Will have to try it with camera hook up.
