Probably discussed before, but search didn't reveal much to me on this subject.

With the Fuji 27mm f/2.8 R WR, I have the tiny "lens hood" that has the opening smaller than the thread diameter. It is pretty much good, I am fine with the size, have no real issues with it, other than the plastic slip-on Fuji cap thing it comes with.

It slides on and off, with a little too much ease for my comfort. I have put the camera with lens hood and cap on in a bag, and later when pulling it out, it fell off or I knocked it off. It doesn't snap or twist, just lightly slides on.

Anyone have good options to correct, or alternatives that aren't a 1" long rectangle hood or other bigger than it needs to be design?

Buying a screw on lens hood might be an option?

The given hood completes the compact pancake design so well, that I simply leave it off when the lens is attached to the camera.

Optek hood hat. Mini size fits perfectly. $5 from Amazon.
