I might be spending a two or three days in Savannah, Georgia next week. Does anyone have recommendations on things to photograph and which GFX lenses to bring? I have a GFX 50S II body and the only lenses I don't have access to are the 32-64mm, 23mm, 55mm, 80mm, 120mm, 500mm, and the tilt-shift lenses. This will be my first time there, and I'm not familiar with the photo opportunities.

River street and two blocks in is going to have all the historic architecture and parks.

Wormsloe Plantation has an iconic oak lined drive.

From the lens choices you provided, I would prefer the GF50 and do lots of walking.

Was shooting there last November with the Q2 and 100II w 45-100 and 20-35. Great food. Great town.

Thank you, I think the River Street area sounds interesting.

Nothing beats the 20-35 for walking around a town. Also take the 35-70 if you have it. Mount the 20-35 and throw the 35-70 in a light shoulder bag.

I like wide angle. I'm not a fan of zooming in on old manhole covers, doorknobs and pieces of window frames or angular pieces of buildings, but I do it sometimes.

The 45-100 is also great for standing back or shooting down streets.

I was there in 2019, shot these with my Leica Q2. https://brick.smugmug.com/Travel/2019-11-Savannah

Definitely check out Wormsloe Cemetary.

Also recommend dining at The Grey - you'll need reservations.

Best pizza I've ever had - Vinny Van GoGo's.
Nice photos! This will be my first time there, and it's only about a seven-hour drive for me to visit again. I'm thinking I might take a GF 35-70mm for general purpose use during the day and maybe a GF 45mm F2.8 or the manual focus Mitakon 65mm for evening. Because of some of the other activities I will be involved with, I have to limit the amount of gear I can bring.

My trip to Savannah was brief. I arrived around 2:30 p.m. and left the next morning. However, I was able to walk for about three hours that evening around the River Street area. I also had a delicious slice of pizza, for dinner, at Vinnie Van Go-Go's.

The next day I traveled to Panama City, Florida to attend a wedding, and I stayed in that area for about three days before driving along the coast via highway 98 until I needed to connect to Interstate 95 to return to Virginia. I enjoyed the trip and was able to capture several photos that I am happy with. In addition to a GFX 50S II, I brought a GF 20-35mm, GF 35-70mm, and a GF 45mm. The GF 35-70mm got the most use, but the GF 45mm was used for photos I took at the wedding ceremony and reception.

Here are some examples from the trip.
