I posted here a few weeks ago looking for help to restore an old faded color photograph. I used to use "Digital ROC", which is out of existence. I eventually signed up for Photoshop 2024, even though I have installed CS5 and CS6. I had my PC custom built by Puget Systems in May 2011. Attached is the Spec Sheet. Over the years, I upgraded the RAM from 16 to 32GB, replaced the two hard drives with 1/2TB and 2TB SSD drives and upgraded to Windows 10 Pro. After purchasing and installing Photoshop 2024, I got a warning from the new Photoshop that my Graphics Card was not supported. "Pull Your Hair Out Time!" Thursday I had a local PC Tech make a house call to help install my new Graphics Card I bought on line after it being recommended my an on-line chat with an old timer. It is a RX-665X8D 8GB RAM. My PC with the new Photoshop is amazing. The Video Card works flawlessly (so far). See attached spec sheet for a good laugh. My next hurdle is that Microsoft will stop supporting Windows 10 shortly, and I have been told taht my PC WILL NOT accept Windows 11. Rats. I am 86, so I do not need my PC to last ANOTHER 13 years, but 5 more would be nice. Spec Sheet attached. This is a great group! Everyone is helpful and non-competitive.

PS How do I insert a file (my PC Spec Sheet)?

Here is the PDF Spec Sheet saved as a JPG to see if I can attach it.

Out and about the neighborhood with a Pentax-A 28mm f/2.8, at f/2.8, on the GFX 50R in 1:1 format.

For this last one, should probably crop more of the foreground, or tilt the camera up and correct the verticals in post.

No. I love the way the sidewalk leads me into it. Nice. 👍
That was my original thought, but my wife thought there wasn’t enough visual interest up until the manhole cover. Thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated!

This is a cool shot! I’m with your wife though :) could I take a stab at editing?

That looks just right!

We call it an Amaryllis here (Western Canada), though I think that's a common name not the actual species. It's usually sold in Oct.-Nov. as a bulb that flowers around Christmas time. They don't survive our winters outdoors, though, so most people treat them as annuals and discard them after the blossoms are finished.

Nice.

This set prompted me to give the Super Takumar 28/3.5 a try for square format on GFX. It doesn't cover the corners of 33x33 quite as well as the faster K-mount 28, but it's light, focuses closely, and is sharp in the center.

Ive rented the 20-35 for the weekend and I don't do street stuff much but then I thought why not try again. Thoughts?
