I’ve seen various discussions on the weird limitations of this model when it comes to using an external monitor. I’m a real amateur by most members on here standards but I just want to know: if I want to use an external monitor occasionally on this camera will it allow me to record on the in camera sd cards or not? Or do I have to get one with a record function? Will that record function still allow the RAW file to be saved even if I’m on a high fps rate? I don’t do video at this point. Any lay terms guidance or model suggestion would be really appreciated.
