Spring is in the air, so dip your toe in the L Mount Photo Pool, or go ahead and dive right in. Either way, please post photos and videos you have taken with your L Mount camera in May 2024 here (even if you used an adapted lens on your L Mount body).

Also, even if you start a new thread to post photos you have taken (maybe to show off a new lens or body you have just got, or to show a place you have been to(, then please do feel free to post them in this thread, too.

Here is a shot taken with an S5 and a Minolta MD 50mm f/2 lens, made in the early 80s (probably stopped down to f/8, and focused on Mt. Tam in the background. Only minimal post-processing).

This lens cost a whopping $25 and is in excellent condtion. It is a pretty sharp lens, but doesn't have the contrast of more modern lenses (all the haze in the air doesn't help, either).

I have a soft spot in my heart for Minolta Rokkors.

Continuing to learn my S5, images taken with the 70-300mm and 20-60mm on a sunny spring morning a few days ago. Still experimenting with some OOC jpeg colour recipes, and some are pp'd with a trial of DXO PhotoLab with Filmpack 7 (I'm really gelling with this program, as opposed to what I was using previously).

The SwissAir 111 memorial near Peggy's Cove, NS.

Here are some images from a late 60's Canon FL 55/1.2 lens. All images on a Lumix S1, with a set of Tiffen close up filters used for a few of the super close shots.

First up, cityscapes.

This is not, actually, a totality shot of the eclipse we just had.

Next up, some things more wild.

I did not see the little caterpillar when I captured this.

Glad you like them. I use some homegrown stuff I made in Lightroom, usually I start with a matte base. The bird shot and a couple of the black and whites in this set use a matte b&w preset I downloaded from somewhere, cant remember.
