Very, very nice--if this was in black and white it would look like something from the 1940s--and I mean that as a most definite compliment. If not for the modern traffic signs at the top and the content of the newspaper, it could be from another era.

When I first saw this shot i thought about how nice it would be in B&W. Looks like others share this opinion. And sure enough, your B&W version is awesome!

I really like the use of DOF in this image. Your subject(s) are nicly in focus, with the focus gradually softening toward the distance. Try to do that with your previous digital camera!
