To post your pics, please reply to THIS post and change the title. Otherwise, in threaded mode, your post will appear to be a comment to another's post. We don't want to overlook your pics! Threaded mode lists posts in a hierarchy which is ideal for viewing threads like this one.

Try to limit pics and identify subjects if possible. It would be nice if you would provide location and other info others might find interesting. And do comment on others pics if so moved. Everyone is welcome to participate with any camera, any time. Lurkers and new members please join in.

Trying out my new shirt pocket Sony camera on a daily walk. Images are major crops of original RAW files. PP in RawTherapee (No RAW support from DXO for the HX99 :-( )

Hi All

Just sharing three images from my latest wildlife gallery, the complete collection of which you’ll find on my not-for-profit website. For those who may be interested in viewing, here’s a direct link to the album:

Ultimately: After delving around in some of my old images folders, I was reminded of just how handy and convenient small sensor bridge cameras like many in Panasonic’s FZ range have been for my wildlife escapades over the years. Hence, what better place than to share some of my memories with DPR viewers – especially on my favourite forum of all on here. :-)

An Eider mother with very young ducklings

Pair of Nuthatches busy nest building.

Red Deer Stags, Locked and Loaded

Thanks for looking.

Happy shooting and kind regards to all DPR staff and readers.

Cheers for now...

For some reason, the local recreational area is called Paradise Park (Parc du Paradis). It can be fairly busy with pedestrians, dogs and joggers. Yet quite a few birds like it there.

Now for the plot of the week: I was witness to a terrible event at the pond. Unfortunately, there isn’t a body left since that was, well, gobbled up by the perp. But I have evidence, see below! 😀

Interestingly enough a police patrol vehicle came to the scene shortly afterwards. Most likely for some other reason though… 😅

Northern Flicker - took a few of one of the young being fed just after this pic but I was even less steady unfortunately.

Nice and sharp although the light doesn’t seem to be quite on your side.

Some interesting moment you have captured there indeed… 😀

I had never seen this one before.

Also I have seen 3 new birds last few days, but the pics are terrible...

She lost a lot of ground in the current with those little hooves paddling across, so no she doesn't count. I was going to call her a "funny looking beaver" ;-)
