A good effort, but you downsized it to 3000 long side as opposed to the original size of roughly 9000.
It's four times the size of the example you posted.A good effort, but you downsized it to 3000 long side as opposed to the original size of roughly 9000.My try with Adobe. Didn't apply any NR.
IMatch is a fantastic DAM - If you NEED everything it can do. I tried it and found it way too complex and with a steep learning curve. When I switched from PL6 to LR Classic I was up and running with its DAM in fairly short order, And it does everything I need and much more. BTW I really like LR Classic and its many features that are relatively easy to learn and use.BTW, Lightroom Classic's capability (strictly as a DAM) doesn't come close to IMatch. Maybe it will someday, but that will take a long time.
It's just a DAM correct? I didn't see any major editing tools unless I missed something. If it is a DAM bases only it's not surprising it is better than LrC. Great if you need all of that.IMatch is a fantastic DAM - If you NEED everything it can do. I tried it and found it way too complex and with a steep learning curve. Thanks. LrC's DAM is more than enough for me.Yes. IMatch is a DAM and focuses on managing images, videos and many other file formats. It's just a DAM correct? "Doing on thing right" and all that...
Users combine IMatch with a RAW processor, image editor, video/audio editor and other software. Separating the DAM part makes it very easy for them to switch to another RAW processor or software when needed.
If the built-in organization features in Lightroom Classic are sufficient for you - awesome!
Whatever works for you is good!
Which is why I labeled the included jpg a thumbnail. That's a wonderful shot, BTW. Okay, I need the practice with PhotoLab 7, so ...Which is why I labeled the included jpg a thumbnail. Very interesting. Thank you for the nice image. To Jason's Darktable or anyone else's software of choice.
Not a perfect file by any means, but it can be made to look pretty good. Let's see what you can do with it. Full size.
