Wonder if Nikon itself is shipping yet in the US? And more importantly, are they shipping the red ones? Yes, I'm the guy who ordered a red one.

If NikonUSA is being consistent and Oct 12th was the real target release date in the US as I understand it was, then units started shipping to dealers on Wednesday for Friday arrival. I'm not sure what Nikon Store does in relation to that.
Generally in the US, NikonUSA targets Friday arrivals at dealers for items, though sometimes those units arrive a day earlier.

I ordered from B&H at 6am on the first day and received an email this morning saying that the item I ordered is still back ordered, fyi. That could just be an auto email based on the length of time from when I ordered but I also ordered the 40mm combo and have heard that’s in demand… but who knows?

I was late with my pre-order. Body only. Nothing yet.
Given all the pre-order hullabaloo….I’ve just received an email from Nikon U.K. pushing the Zf…when I clicked “buy now” I see they have it in stock for new orders. They must have enough to cover the pre-orders and more.

Well, entirely as expected, Nikon is shipping my order today, and I leave 6pm for Italy tomorrow for 2 weeks. I'd love for a next day delivery but with my luck it will land in the package room on the 16th when I'm in Rome.
But at least Nikon USA is shipping orders - I got the 40mm kit from the store directly at 0930 day of release

Seems like Nikon USA has free stock of body only or as a kit with 24-70 in most colors right now. The kit with the 40mm is backordered though. Hopefully that means those of us who pre-ordered through B&H or Adorama should get some good news soon. My Z6II sold a lot quicker than I anticipated so.... crossing my fingers.
