Just installed DXO Photo Lab 6.10 on my windows computer, and it now officially supports the A6700.

Interestingly enough a new major version - DXO Photo Lab 7 - is advertised already. Glad I got the support for the A6700 with the version 6.10, since I'm now not forced to upgrade to the new version if I want that support. As it is I can check out the new functions version 7 offers (see https://www.dxo.com/dxo-photolab/whats-new/) without any necessary haste and can decide calmly if I need or want them.

..and 6.1 ==> 7 upgrade is $109. Sheesh.

For those like myself with DXO PureRaw, PR3 update today includes support! Thanks Phil for spotting this.

Just saw that too ... Pretty steep. Will see if I really want to spend that much on the new features.

Phil
A couple of the updated features seem useful. I'd wait and see what the Black Friday sale brings. DXO always discount it then.

I am doing the trial of 7 and it lacks many features I get in other programs.

Still trying to work with it and like it.

As I am shortly leaving for a laptop-free week of holiday, I am leaving the 30 day free trial of PL7 until I get back from Crete. That'll give me a month before Thanksgiving to see how I can use the new features - the most appetising of which, to my use case, is the colour wheel becoming available for local adjustments.

The update for Elite (from PL6 Elite) is €134, or about US $140, atm, if you live in Italy.

Cheers

Great news, I'm glad that they did it with my current version (PL 6 Elite) thus I don't need to upgrade to Elite 7. I always prefer DXO PL for raw processing even though I subscribe to PS. By default I find their skin tones are more accurate than PS.

I'm not sure if I will upgrade to the Elite 7 but I do like the changes they made from the 6. The US $ 188 (upgrade both Elite and the filmpack) is a bit steep so I'll wait if there are any deals on BF.

Anyone doing the tril or has 7 test your WB picker tool in my version I am testing its broke it turns everything green no matter what I click on, And the drop down list of WB settings do not work except for As Shot.

I would never buy it like this.

Before you give up on the WB picker, I suggest you:
  • take a look at the radius of the picker's pipette (or perhaps it's an eyedropper)
  • work at closer to 100% (in full screen on my laptop with open palettes on both sides, the "customise" window is about 16 or 17%.
Also pick your 18% spot with care. A green cast can be the result of picking a sample that is too white.

Cheers

I see now in some of the DXO FB groups that other people are having this same problem as well and in the V6 update as well. it looks like a fix was put out for Win but not Mac yet.

Here is what I get no matter what I click on. Also the drop down WB items do not work right

Started shooting digital back with the first 2MP cameras. Over 20 cameras later still going. I shoot for a living - family and people portraits, weddings, Sports and a little of everything.

Not beautiful, I agree!

I haven't seen anything about this in the DxO forum, and I hadn't seen anything about it on FB (unsurprising as I don't belong to any relevant group). I am using Windows 11 and PL6.10 atm; I'll see whether the problem surfaces when I try out the new PL7

Under color tab ...try changing the Wide Color Gammet to sRGB.

FYI, nice overview of new features (vs PL6):

I upgraded from PL Elite 6/Film Pack 7 to Elite 7/FP 7 last week. I'm really enjoying the new software especially the new features for local adjustments and settings for FP 7. Along with PS and Topaz AI, I think I bought my last FF camera already. Here are some images from the A6700 using these software.
