Congrats David. Trip of a lifetime. How are you traveling and for how long? Cruise? Tour? On your own?

You are carrying Hassy.... Cool. What gear? How are you carrying it?

One comment about your comment about the beautiful clear skies....

Remember, clear bald and/or hazy flat directionless skies are the enemy. When I travel, I pray for cloud stacks or even a storm. Anything but a bald blue polarized empty boring and image-killing bald wasteland of a sky.

But having said that, I still refuse to use sky replace, which is very easy these days and about to become much easier. Very soon LR will have Ai sky replace and I never again will believe any dramatic sky I see.

It will ruin landscape photography. Gone are the days when I'm giddy with excitement when I have one of those one out if two hundred days with dramatic stacks of colorful clouds. Every shot will have great skied with sky replace and it will absolutely ruin landscape photography.

Safe travels. Post a lot of shots here.....

Love clouds, agree that empty sky boring, but the color gradients from X2D is smooth and beautiful.

David,

Keep posting! I know you are on the road and probably can't do extensive post processing.

The first and third shots could benefit greatly with some good post processing. The temp is off and they have an easily removeable caste and can be greatly improved with some sky and foreground masking and tone mapping and adding some clarity pop and some other simple tricks....

But don't let that stop you. Keep posting. I was right where you are and shot for several days a few years ago.
