I guess I am also in the same boat. My post is also not approved and it has been 19 hours since I posted. I assume, that replying to this thread may help.

I know I am late to the scene here, but are new member posts still getting approved (given the announcement of DPReview closure)? I made my first post 15 hours ago and it is still pending approval.

To my shame, I only got to know dpreview when I read an article that the site will be closed soon. Happy to see that a better solution was found.

Hello, I have the same "issue"
I created my account yesterday to engage in the photography forums (I have been helping people with their photography questions on discord for a while but I though it would have been nice to do it here as well as this forum helped me countless times when I was stuck myself)
I have a post that has been approved, but I'm still waiting for moderator approval for others, and I really don't know if we should just post a message here or if there is a path to go to?
I really don't know if anything has changed in the past few months either, what may be true 6 months ago could very well not apply anymore
Anyway, whatever the answer it, I'd really love to know it

I think the problem is that the moderators are all unpaid volunteers and live in various timezones across the world, so their response may vary from just a few minutes to days (if they are otherwise occupied).Apparently I can engage in other conversations, and people can see my posts, so I guess I somehow got approved in the meantime?
