Occasionally I get bored using today's high megapixel, do everything cameras. Sometimes this manifests itself in a binge of shooting real film, or more recently a dip into turn of the century low megapixel, CCD powered "digi-cams".
A couple of days ago, my little city in far north Texas had a free concert (Foghat) scheduled for the July 4th weekend. Along with my real cameras, I took a recently acquired CD Mavica.
That's correct. The camera that writes files to a mini-cd. Originally and improvement on the camera that wrote files to 3.5 inch floppy disks, these cameras offered an alternative to high priced memory cards of the era.
The idea didn't last long, but it provided some comic relief to find some old mini-cds and figure out how to use this old beast.
If, like me, you are old enough to remember
