Strange Tamron 17-70mm vignetting

I do believe that Adobe is the one who has the solution, since neither in Capture One nor in Fujifilm X Raw Studio, nor in Darktable do the double exposure rings appear.
Yes, they do. If you use the built-in metadata profile, the rings appear in C1 and DT too, the same as with Lightroom.
darktable has it all good now from parsing the embedded metadata (not using lensfun). See my last post:

No worries, Adobe is probably working on an AI Lens Correctinator :-)

It is surprising that no Tamron lenses for Fuji X mount appear on the list of lenses compatible with Adobe software.

They are compatible but, as with most modern lenses, the lens correction profiles are now contained in the lens firmware itself and are supplied to the software via the RAW metadata, Adobe doesn't have to "support" the lens with their own profile, as they use the manufacturer's built-in profile instead.

Some other software (like DxO and Capture One), besides offering an option to use the manufacturer's profile, also offer their own proprietary profiles (which don't exhibit the problem). In the case of your lens, something is wonky with the built-in profile and, for whatever reason, it isn't correctly working at f/2.8.

The BIG downside of Lightroom/ACR is that if the RAW file's metadata contains a correction profile. it is applied automatically and there's no way to turn it off. X-Transformer allows you to turn off just the vignetting correction so serves as a workaround by bypassing the Adobe conversion processing entirely. You can then correct the vignetting manually later.

Hello. Adobe has not yet fixed a problem with the Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 lens, when shooting RAW with the Fuji X-T4 at f2.8 aperture and editing with Adobe software. I invite you to meet him here and write in the forum for Adobe to fix that problem. Thank you.

Does this problem also happen with the X-S20? Does anyone have an X-S20 with a Tamron 17-70mm to send some samples at f2.8? Thank you

Adobe has just announced that they have fixed the vignetting rings issue.

I have updated Adobe Camera Raw to today's version. If I open a RAW file in Adobe Photoshop the effect is fixed, but in LR CC the error follows. I deleted the LR CC catalog previews file, rebooted the Mac and when I regenerated the previews in LR CC I got the double vignetting error.

LR CC (the problem is still there):

PHOTOSHOP (the problem does not exist)

Congratulations, you guys kept it up !

I just updated through the CC app. For Ps I now see an ACR version 15.5, but Lr after restarting is still on 15.4. There was no Lr in the app, so give it a couple of days.

Enjoy the lens

wait, Adobe announced that they have fixed the problem? in their software?

But, but, but ... some of us have confirmed it's not Adobe problem .... :-)

Joking asides, it's an awesome lens in terms of IQ. However, the embedded correction data is wrong at 20mm, I have to switch to using my calibrated lensfun for those shots.
