No viva las handheld. As I found out the V1 is not your friend when trying to go handheld at night in vegas :) With that slow lens I should have been smart enough to bring at least a mono pod, of course that really defeats the purpouse of having an "ultra compact" camera. Luckily not all was lost and few turned out not bad.

Yeah, the 707 is the same way. I am curious. What white balance setting did you use on the last shot? The V1 definitely has a wider angle than the F707.

I'm wondering the eiffel tower at las vegas how big is it compared to the eiffel tower in paris.
Here's a similar picture I took with my 717. It was my first time
playing with manual controls. This was taken with a tripod.

Thank you. I wish I had won enuff for the 828. I did manage to net about $.50 enuff for 3 4x6 prints at Costco lol

Yea h that picture has a definate cast too it. I think I was using auto white balance when I was walking down the strip. The auto white balance on the V1 tends to not be very acurate and although I could correct it in photoshop the scene in real life was actually about half way between your image and mine so I chose to leave it with the color cast, although I do llke how your letters show up better.

Thanks
