New firmware coming next week for the Lumix S5II

The odd thing about this is that the announcement was made on May 9th here:

https://www.panasonic.com/global/consumer/lumix/firmware_update.html

and clearly states that the update will be available on June 13th 2023.

Details about what is changed and improved is given at the link above.

And indeed new firmwares for S5II and S5IIX are now available, the S5II needs the paid upgrade key to unlock the new video modes that the S5IIX has already (you paid for them in the original price).
