The Fuji X Weekly Photo Sharing Thread has found a new home. As you know there are a few sites that popped up beginning last week when the horrible announcement was made. I registered in all of them and after discussions with some, the best option was DPRevived.com. The member population seems to be growing exponentially and both principals are former DPR alums. What's great is they agreed to establish a forum specifically for the Weekly Fuji X Photo-Sharing Thread!!!!!I (Drumroll Please!)
The advantage of having a dedicated Forum is we won't have each week's thread disappear into the vast number of other threads as has been the case in the past at DPR. Again a heartfelt hanks to Bob and Alan for making this happen. Please let them know when you hopefully register and display your wonderful work!!
Generally I will be starting each week's thread with the usual welcome. I may announce the new arrival on their Fuji X forum each week just to remind everyone it is there. Since it is its own forum we may get some comments from the general group but my hunch is once the other brand forums become well populated with members they will want to emulate what has been "born" here. Also some members on the site may wish to post some of their "non-Fuji" cam images. If so, that's fine. Hopefully the thread and its subsequent threads will have mostly imagery from their Fuji X cams.
The First Thread will begin April 14, a Friday, just because I will be gone on Saturday, the 15th. So have your images ready!
Lastly there is a TEST Thread for test-posting your images. Right now DPRevived does not have its own galleries to store your images so the test thread is a good way to experiment.
Again, thanks to the Admins, Bob and Alan for setting this up so the Fuji X Weekly Photo Sharing Thread can continue and our community has a chance to thrive elsewhere!!!
