Many of us have noticed that this new lens doesn’t set the correct aperture on Fuji X cameras when set to f2.8, f3.2 or f3.6 and zoomed to 40-50mm. They all are actually at f4 even though the camera readout reads differently

There’s a brand new firmware update that totally fixes this issue.

BTW, I love this lens. --

Thank you very much!

Cant believe we have to send the lens to Sigma for something as simple as an update.

You don't have to send it back...update process is exactly the same as for a native Fujifilm lens...updated mine without any issues.

I also updated mine through the camera with no problems at all

how is the auto focus now ?

Is it on par with fuji 18-55mm 2.8-4 ?
I don't have any AF issues with the 18-50, feel its on par with my other Fuji lenses.

The lens just works correctly now I dont have the Fuji Lens

Regards

They should come up with something to fix the zoom rotation next. I hate how it rotates the "Canon way"
That’s the only thing I don’t like about my lens, but a “fix” would require purchasing a new lens so I don’t hate it enough for that fix.
