Samsung Galaxy S23 / S22 Ultra GCAM with natural processing

OK, guys - i f**ck..d up 😅 IN LMC You should go to Settings->Photo Processing. Enable patcher option should be set to off, then You go to library and for every sensor choose - CUSTOM LIB FROM DIR, and then MATTEO22F. Then images will be brighter :) Bit more noise, but night mode eliminate it :)
So when Lib patcher is switched on, does it override any custom libs you've selected?

I have yet get used to the structure of the calavezo page. Not so easy finding libs there. Is there a way to specifically search for a xml if you know the name?

Photosphere doesn't work with these mods but panorama does even with the ultrawide lens - BUT:

Where do you set panorama resolution to MUCH higher? Very small stock resolution compared to other GCam apps.

Pictures are coming out very soft and sometime more blurry than the stock Samsung camera. I am using the S22 Ultra (snapdragon) and have downloaded the SGCAM_8.4.400.42.XXX_STABLE_V43_AWEME_PACKAGE.apk file along with the zip. I was able to load the s23ULTRAN.xml file just fine even though I'm using the S22.

Are there any settings or anything else I can change so that the images come out more clear and crisp?

Thanks!

If You downloaded GCAM from first post You can use other libs with more sharpness like slib_day, which is available here https://mega.nz/fm/WJhkhALC

Copy this to SGCAM/LIB and choose lib in settings :)

Does the GCAM solve problem with blurred photos of moving object (children)?

This it's solving using expertRAW and setting manual shutter speed. No shortcuts here. If you are in low-light enviroment, disable AutoHDR on ExpertRAW to avoid strange shadows in this mode. It's a pain in the ass, I know.

Also, one important thing, Pixel phones uses two lenses to focus faces in movement, it's not only Gcam, it's both.

Hi, I'm trying to install the app on my S23, but it keeps saying it can't find the directory with the right xml. I've stored the extracted folder in the main memory folder. Any help would be appreciated!

Save random xml, then it will show the correct folder, and put the xml there.

Some sample from my recent trip.

Probably is not the best photo quality on the market, but using the Gcam overall I'm very satisfied of the incredibile versatility.

Plus the device is all around the best you can find.

I did many test gcam 12mpx vs stock 50mpx and 200mpx, and i can say that most of the time high res stock is useless. Details are similar or even better with gcam at 12mpx.

Can you share what setup are you using and xml?

Is it LCM8.4 + S23ultralmc.xml ?

whait, how did you enabled 50mpx mode? for me it goes up to 4590x6190 when I keep the HIRES option
There is no 50mp mode with Gcam, the Hi-Res option is around 24pm but that's just software upscaling from the 12mp file. So far, no one has managed to unlock the full sensor resolution with Gcam.

In my brief testing (admittedly just in low-light), I found the LMC + Matteo libs gave better results than the set-up by JavaSabr on XDA. Did you compare the two?
