This is my first GR and I’m smitten. I absolutely love the small form factor. The Diary Edition is beautiful and the finger strap and case which come in the kit are surprisingly nice. I wasn’t expecting to like the finger strap, but it’s comfortable to use!

I’m so glad that I decided to pick up this beautiful little camera. I’m still planning on using my Fujifilm X-T3 when the need arises, but I’m expecting this to be my everyday carry.

Taken with the negative film simulation.

Did you already milk your special dairy edition cow? :-D

Joking aside, I’m not the kind of guy for such a camera, because my cameras need to either be completely black, or dark green, but aesthetically speaking it looks like a pretty nice lifestyle camera. It will most probably need a little bit more maintenance and care, because of the light colors, but the combination looks rad.

Enjoy your new little fella, and have fun taking more photos with a camera you can have always with you. Chances are high that it will replace your X-T3 in many situations.

What a beautiful camera. I am really envious of all GR III shooters and hope there will be a IIIx version soon. I'd swap my IIIx for one with these amazing colours.

I just got the GRIIIx Urban Edition and am in my second week of use. Had the edition you got been available I may have purchased it. I like the look of both over the generic version, extra cost not important to me.. But that's not the best part of my owning a GR. Image quality and ease of use. I have three Fuji cameras. Each great in their own way. But, the smile I get when I see what the GR can do in comparison, given its compact size, is simply amazing. Have fun! That's what I'm doing.

Suddenly wondering how many cameras you have that are dark green?
I only own the X-Pro3 which isn’t really dark green, but near enough, and personally I love to use it with a Peak Design Sage Cuff, and a Billingham bag in Sage FibreNyte / Chocolate Leather (Olive Lining).

I love the Leica Reporter editions (M & Q), but unfortunately don’t own one.

Dura Black, but I digress.

I like what Ricoh does with the different editions. You could match the camera with your outfit and make it even more invisible, one of the big strengths of the GR.

There is also the Nikon 1 S1 in olive green which looks pretty nice, but I also don’t own this one :-)

While browsing through the official Ricoh site to take a look at the Diary edition, I not only discovered that Ricoh’s shops worldwide are a little mess with broken links, but I also found this marvel that is apparently only available in China.

The GR III ING Edition:

Green, green, green.

Does this look familiar to owners of former Ricoh cameras? :-D

Yes, China only unfortunately. I'm a green kind of person too, so would have loved it.

It's in stock at the EU Ricoh store.
Thanks a bunch. Indeed they seem to be in stock there but they will not ship to US, it seems ;(

If you really want it and you know someone in Europe you could have it delivered to them and have them send it out to you afterwards. Not ideal, but if it's something you're really keen on, given it's a limited number of pieces, this may be your only choice.

Yes, but you need to keep in mind that you either need to pay customs, or declare the camera as almost worthless, and risk a loss during delivery which can happen when you ship overseas.

Look at this beauty, a very nice fit for the Diary edition.

There is the option of sending it as a present that avoids customs and can be done by a friend as a private individual.
