Samsung Galaxy S23 / S22 Ultra GCAM with natural processing

Thanks a lot, I will try out this tonight. :) do you use this setting for daylight as well? Or do you have another configuration for this?

I haven't tried much daylight so far...seems to work fine with same config, but I'll take some time to experiment

I don't get it. The color setting of gcam is great. See gcam vs stock cam.

Gcam

Overblown stock

But gcam brightness still doesn't always work. I tried exposure compensation, I tried the brightness slider.. The results always remain the same dark..

Gcam.

Vs stock.. Any idea?

Its a thing from the library, from one side you get dslr like photos in terms of exposure, but in very dark it has lower exposure , go into hdr minus and plus, and set to -1 and + 8.5

For those willing to test, I created three basic settings for GCam and S23U:

...apk, xml and lib file are all included. Don't forget to load the lib, otherwise results will be worse.

Explanations for the different xmls:

DAY

Suitable for most environments - good compromise between low noise and shutter speed.

Night mode working (up to 1/7sec shutter speed).

Bug: astro mode doesn't work.

NIGHT

For dark environments - medium noise.

Night mode working (up to 1/4sec shutter speed) and astro, too.

Bug: dynamic range sometimes bad when using night mode.

ASTRO

For very dark environments - low noise.

Night mode working (up to 1/2sec shutter speed) and astro, too.

Bug: dynamic range sometimes bad when using night mode.

Thanks for the tip, where can I find this setting? Is it part of the additional settings?

Elmar, how did You take 50 megapixel photo in GCAM? 🙄🙄🙄 My phone takes 12 megapixel shots.
I think it's a mistake, and it's stock camera on 50Mpx mode...

I cannot find these settings, can you tell me where they are? Additional settings maybe?

Probably he just set the upscaling to 4.00 and use HIRES mode.

But after all quality is the same that 12mpx, just upscaled

I am using hires mode, but haven't changed any up scaling variables.

So can YOu upload RAW files from GCAM? If You didn't change any upscaling variables, resolution should be 6140x4590, not full 50 megapixels like here. Image quality is also very good. Hmmm...

I have cropped the 50MP photo to 300% and still holds details, and we know that its actually more then 500% as a 12MP photo, so something is going on here, im very confused.

Can you share this info,

1. noise model that you are using on main

2. APK/XML

3. Libary

4. HDR-E vs HDR +, and how much frames are you using?

5. Sharpness a & b, and sharpness section screenshots

6. Denoise levels settings, and screenshots form luma, chroma, and sabre section.

I haven't changed so much.

This is the XML

Gcam and libraries are the ones that you posted in the guide, using mateo18 for these shots.

HDR+ in normal mode, 25 frames and 1/8s exposure.

For hdr + and 25 frames, that shots are very good. Thing is quite a bit apks/xmls and their slight remakes - posted lately that im completely lost what apk/xml/lib you talk about, i understand for Matteo lib but i need to see the settings of the xml, and i need them to understand if the settings are making the pictures good, or its the sensor.
