You've obviously got more experience in this field than I haveK-3 III is good but K-1 is more compatible with old glass optically. With the latest big glass of Pentax, the best result can be obtained.

I suppose you could say that in the sense that classic/film era lenses are FF, and the K-3iii is APS-C.K-3 III is good but K-1 is more compatible with old glass optically.
Well, certainly not a basis for generalization... Self selection surveys rarely are <g>Me too, but where's this leading, as I'm sure there are plenty of Pentaxians who aren't members of this site so imho this straw poll is hardly worth the effort, is it?

For myself it is not so much about being an early adopter rather than that I upgraded from a K-5IIs and had wait for a long long time for a replacement.Interesting, though, are the number who self-identified as early-adopters (say in or before the first couple of days of release). I doubt that that's typical of all users.
Trust me--well understood. I didn't mean early adopter as a personality type, just as a characterization of this particular purchase. I suspect that GR III/IIIx sales are helping a lot here.Trust me--well understood. I didn't mean early adopter as a personality type, just as a characterization of this particular purchase. But that doesn't seem to have exhausted the market, given that Ricoh continues to report profitable quarters attributed to Pentax/GR sales. See https://pentaxrumors.com/category/financial-reports/
So the number of early buyers here seems to make us an unusual group (as if being Pentax users didn't make us odd enough <g>).
Probably so, yes. Though it's a product (really an entire market segment) that I just don't get. My limitation no doubt.I suspect that GR III/IIIx sales are helping a lot here.
