Thanks - looks like you cover a lot of ground. I have been to Bolsa Chica and the Huntington Library. I am not familiar with the Ballona Wetlands.

With the long - banded tail (hard to tell for sure) and markings all the way up the neck, my guess is a juvenile coopers hauk

First panning shot with slow sync flash. Sony a7iv/Sony 20 f1.8/Godox v1
I went riding with my friend and took camera bag with. Got some nice shots and here's my favourite. On -3 c' godox v1 screen comes super slow but I got what I wanted. This was my first ever panning with slow sync flash. Feel free to give some advice. With Tenba axis v2 20l bag my gear survived great and had good work out also.
