Hello, I have looked at the DJI website and also at ZHIYUN for a stabilizer for the Fuji H2s.

The Ronin RS3 stabilizer does not appear on the compatibility list.

The ZHIYUN WEEBILL 3 stabilizer has partial compatibility, according to its website.

Has anyone tried either with the Fuji H2s?

Can you recommend me any other model?

Thank you very much.

Hi I have bought the Weebill 3. It controls some functions. But mine will be under the Xmas tree so have not really played with it yet.

Hello:

I have used the X-H2S with firmware version 2.1 on a DJI RS2. With the RS2 I am able to start/stop recording and control aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. I would assume that RS3 would similarly work.

Good to read that the X-H2(s) is working on gimbal numerous systems. What this means is that the SDK on previous FujiFiim offerings (X-T3, X-T4, etc) is compatible with FujiFilm's most recent cameras.

Let's hope FujiFilm does no screw-up with new firmware releases and make communication between the camera and gimbal non-functioning. FujiFilm has already done this, e.g. Firmware version 1.3 worked. Firmware version 2.0 did not work. Firmware version 2.1 (most recent) works.

Hi Damien,

I found the X-H2S version 2,1 works with RS2 even though. I can record, stop record, and change camera parameters such as ISO, shutter speed and aperture. The only thing I can find that does not work is the White Balance top button after selecting record one time. The work around is to change White Balance from the Q menu.

I suggest that you attempt the X-H2s on your RS3 and see if it works well enough for you.

The new just announced DJI RS3 Mini says it's compatible with the H2s

I just pre-ordered so I'll report back when I get it

But according to that link, you can't control much in video mode. Am I missing something here?

Really surprised to read that X-H2S/RS3 does not allow you to change shutter speed, aperture and ISO. I can do all three with an X-H2S version 2.1 and an RS2 through RavenEye on the DJI Ronin application.

Maybe it just doesn't let you change it while recording? I guess we will see in a couple days. I ordered one and it got the alert email that it was shipped last night. I'll report back once I get it.

Hi Damien,

I never attempted to change recording parameters while recording. Or, there is no way to change recording parameters from the RS3 Mini directly.

Are you getting a RavenEye?

Look forward to you reporting back on your results.

RS3 mini arrived this afternoon. In video mode, you know, where you'd use a gimbal, nothing is supported on the XH2S besides start and stopping recording. Maybe and hopefully that changes at some point. As far as the size, weight and functionality as a gimbal I'm quite impressed otherwise.

Anyone here using RSC2? My RSC2 for the most part works with the X-H2S but one annoying thing is that the camera locks focus when adjusting iso with the control wheel on the gimbal (I use AF-S, not sure if that makes a difference). I can half press shutter to release the focus but it gets really annoying when changing iso frequently. I wonder if RS2 does the same.

If I can change ISO... but ¿Nothing?

Can you use start/stop recording button with bluetooth or cable?

I tried it with Bluetooth but it doesn't link so unfortunately not compatible so requires the cable for start and stop. Not the end of the world but with how little compatibility there is for anything besides the recording function, sure would have been cool to at least be able to skip the cable.

Hi bit,

I have the RSC2 connected to my xh2s. I normally shot in AF-C. Tested AF-S and -C and they both function the same way. Once recording half press on the RSC2 record button does not focus regardless if I use the focus wheel to adjust ISO. Touch focus still works. Touch focus still works. The focus wheel will adjust ISO and aperture if I set the aperture to auto on the lens. ISO and aperture can be adjusted before and during record. ISO and aperture function the same through RaveEye.

Edit: I don’t think I would want to be able to control shutter as I follow the 180 rule.

Hope this helps,

Michael
