Just saw the new Godox product.

Design wise it's incredible! I was looking for example shots made with this retro flash, but could not find anything else than the promotional clip.

Any idea what/where (outdoors, indoors) this could be used for? Is it more to be considered as a "hype gadget"? They do adverstise it as a tool to recreate a "Nostalgia Glamour" feel :-).

But really love the idea!

I agree, it looks like a beautiful and innovative design. I only wish they had included up-to-date wireless TTL to make it useful for working photographers. The hipsters can turn that off and use old-school flash sensor auto or manual if they want (and can figure out how.) I'm not personally interested in nostalgic "vintage" lighting, I think this shape of reflector would look great for close-to-subject environmental portraits carefully balanced with ambient light.

It's a toy. Manual/auto flash with GN14. It will look cool on the shelf after trying to use it twice.
